can't blame the wii audience... nobody really knew about it. It seems the "higher quality" the game is, the least likely a company will advertise. EA though DS:E was amazing, then dropped it with nothing. same with Ubi and this (and probably RS2). this game doesn't deserve goo sales. No multiplayer, crappy graphics, repetitive, tedious and dull gameplay. I had the first one and stop paying after 30mins and i won't buy this one becuase its the same crap. when the price gets to $20, i might buy it, but its not worth full price. Message | Report |

I really doubt people buy Wii games anymore at full price unless they're by 1st party and brand recognition. It's sad how quick gamers will flock to the next generic war FPS with half assed single player campaigns. If you have the money, buy this and you won't be disappointed. Message | Report |

meh, I anticipated the poor sales of the game, very disappointed. Wii HD with Bioshock 2, GTA IV would be fine. There's no high profile games besides Nintendo ones, and I'm tired of that. Good sales for the Wii, but IMO the worst Nintendo gen ever after 4 brilliant ones. Message | Report |

Just another 3rd party release for 3rd parties to complain about and bring up in "analysis reports". The fact that it was never promoted in any sense of the word and even a video gamer and web crawler like me forgot it even came out (which is pathetic) won't make a difference what-so-ever. One thing people fail to realize is retailer preference. I'm not talking about gameshops, I'm talking about the Wal-Marts & the Best Buys & such. They stock games which they "think" will sell (to varying degrees of success). Sometimes that means we won't see many of these kinds of games at all on shelves or at least very little for a short period of time. My local Wal-Mart only stocked 5 of NMH2 & I happened to be the 1st buyer of the game in my store. It's not so much advertising (how do you really advertise this anyway?), it's visibility on the shelves. Nintendo promoted this on their Nintendo Channel! It's not ads, it's visibility + actual customer demand. Regardless NMH2 is excellent. Message | Report |

None…unless a banner on GameFAQS counts as an ad. So, Ubisoft, what was the point of picking this game up if you were just going to ignore it and make gamers find it on their own? Most of the Wii audience still pays attention to traditional media. Yea aside from some in store advertising, and some Nintendo Channel/website trailers, there has been no marketing push for this at all. Even the first had a larger marketing push for this one. Well after finally beating Mass Effect 2, I was able to play this game for about 3 hours today and it is just amazing. Ah reminds me of why I loved the first one so much. Just so unique and SO PUNK. Like the beginning of the game said, "Punx not dead". Message | Report |

I am loving this game!! One thing though is that they really didn't have cutscenes that showed all of the bosses motivations. The bosses in this game only want to beat Travis "the legend". I wish Suda took a few seconds to flesh out the bosses back stories. Message | Report |

It is slowly climbing on Amazon behind Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. I have been tracking it for the past week on Amazon it has gone from ~430 to ~215 in one week, with absolutely nothing in the way of advertising on TV or on Amazon. Message | Report |

Yes it is worrying that it is not on the charts. I still expect the opening week in the Americas to be around 50k. If early reviews come, that might increase. Others should get an opening week of around 35k. Japanese, if advertised properly, should also get a 20k opening week. 100k opening week combined is good. With a stable price for at least the first 10 weeks, The game could see around 250-300k in the first 10 weeks. That would be really good. O course, then it is up to the legs to decide whether this is a success or not. I want this to completely outsell the original. Completely deserves it. Message | Report |

I will be pessimistic for the start and say a release around 150k. I would love to see this game get a huge release and sell in the millions lifetime, but I have learned from my mistakes and realize that most wii gamers don't buy the good games :( Message | Report |

No More Heroes 2 for sure. It is just amazingly awesome. ;) RedSteel 2 is Motionplus exclusive while No More Heroes 2 is optional. Swordplay is better in this and storyline is compelling not to mention longer. Message | Report |
