I currently class this as the 3rd best selling Zelda. The originals total sales are 6.75 if you combine the GBA and NES versions, and 6.55 million for Twilight Princess combined. Of course, Twilight Princess will sell around another 0.5 million by the time this generation ends meaning total sales for the game should be about 7 million which is superb sales. Message | Report |

My opinion is that like other wii games, this is another exemple of a game undertracked. Do you really think that Japan sales for Zelda TP are still fixed in 0.59? Two years passed from his launch! So i think Zelda TP passed 5M right now. Sure! Message | Report |

Depending on how you crunch the numbers, this is either the third-best or fourth-best selling Zelda game ever. Appropriately so, too, because it's quite fun. I think I have 6 runs through of it now, which is quite a feat for somebody who hated 3D Zelda games with a passion before this game came along. Message | Report |

Dark Night DS, why should Nintendo be very happy with these sales? They sold 7.6 million on the N64 with Ocarina of Time...though of course Ocarina of Time was a far better game. Twilight Princess is great though, if you have a Wii or Gamecube definitely worth a purchase. Doesn't hold a candle to Ocarina, but what does? Interesting to think that Call of Duty 4 is now much, much more popular than TP...and possibly the Zelda series as a whole. Message | Report |

well about the japanese TP sales anomaly I can't explain it just look to Phantom Hourglass it will for sure be the the best seller zelda on partable console and the japanese sales are great!! it's difficult to explain the less japanese numbers for TP!! I'm huge fan of the Zelda Franchise and I can tell you Twilight Princess deserves more from japanese well the Wii version may reach the First Zelda (The Nes one) !! and combined with the GC one well it can reach the 7 million by the end of 2008 !!! but it's hard to imagine TP catchin' Ocarina of Time ya so hard!! but who knows only time will show!!! Wii version alone is probably 1 week away from officially being over Windwaker according to these numbers. I love Windwaker don't get me wrong but that game felt to much like a cartoon. 5.64 million combined. I love the Wii version. Component 480P and widescreen really is the way to play this game. That and the way the sword recharges is really cool. That and being able to hold my hands apart one on my lap and the other on the arm rest is much MUCH more comfortable. Message | Report |

The Wii version has maps the exact opposite of the GCN version, in oter words u take a left in the GCN version and thats a right in the Wii version its the same game but the graphics are a little better but not worth buying another copy for unless u like the aiming with the wiimote along with the swinging the sword. Better than Ocarina of Time? In my opinion, yes. There is just so much more stuff to do, the tone of the game is very dark and dramatic (moreso than Ocarina of Time), the game world is huge compared to Ocarina's tiny world map, and the fact that Link can transform into a wolf makes this the best Zelda ever! I still think Ocarina of Time's final battle with Ganon was amazing! Best boss battle period! Which Water Temple was harder, Ocarina or Twilight Princess? Message | Report |

One of the most emotional games ive ever played..can't say many games had me shedding tears of joy but this one did..9/10 i would have givin' it a 10 but it was late and wasn't a wii game..although i'll always put OOT over any other zelda i would say that TP is in fact the best zelda ever...it's just that it's evolution not revolution.. I beat it on gamecube, I rented it for four weeks, late fees up the wazoo. My lady bought me a wii for my 21st birthday. Are the controls amazing and is it worth purchasing just to experience on the Wii? Message | Report |

I liked this game, but it was actually one of my least favoured in the series. It just didn't deliver enough bang, and it felt that entire levels were missing. I really don't think this game should be in the top 10. I say there are quite a few games more deserving than this. Wind Waker comes to mind actually. I still wouldn't slide WW in the top ten either, actually. I scored this one a 7/10. There was just nothing special about it. Message | Report |

I absolutely love this game. I had to come back to it after the hype surrounding the game had dyed down, and I got some component cables before I could start to really enjoy it. The art is some of the best in the Zelda series. The gameplay is the most refined. The collectable's keep you playing the game, and the puzzles are intersting and fun. People blow this game's small flaws way out of proportion because they expected it to be perfect. I won't deny that the game is a bit too easy, but that can be remedied by wearing the Zora armor as much as possible. Since everyone and their mom shoots fire arrows, it really jacks up the difficulty. And have any of you tried going through the Goron Mines with the Zora Suit? It's incredibally difficult. If you mess up and fall, you lose almost eight hearts! The game's length is only about 30-50 hours. That is of course if you rush right through the game and don't take time to sink things in. When you've really gotten everything out of the game, and have discovered all it's secrets, you will realize you've reached the 70-hour mark Nintendo promised us. Twilight Princess was not the most revolutionary Zelda, like Ocarina with it's jump to 3D and Wind Waker with it's fantastic new cel shading, but it had every major Zelda aspect, and did each of them wonderfully. It is definitely, without a doubt, on paper, the single greatest Zelda game ever created. Message | Report |

I would like to see a "cut-off" score for certain games. Scoring Twilight less than say... 5/10... just doesn't make sense, and shouldn't be allowed. Any 0's or 1's should be instantly disallowed/ignored. Message | Report |

This game is undertracked. Nintendo official sales put this game at 8.85m combined between wii and gc. We also have official sales that put the gc version at 1.32m sold. So that means the wii version has sold 7.53m units just 0.07m behind OOT N64. Message | Report |
