"He came for me that day on a misty plain, and even now, an eternity later, I still hear his words:
"You have served me well Chakan, and sent many souls to me. But, you have grown too strong and powerful. I've been summoned to slay you this night."
He smiled, then said, "To a man of death from Death himself, a wager? If you win, Chakan, you shall live forever: if I win, your soul is mine to do with as I wish."
In my vanity, I foolishly accepted."
Chakan, a warrior whose blades have taken countless lives, one day exclaims that even Death himself would bow before his blades. Death appears and makes a wager with Chakan. If he is victorious, he can do with Chakan's soul as he pleases, but if Chakan wins he would be granted immortality. Death is taken aback with Chakan's determination and is defeated. Death grants Chakan's request, but curses him to be affected by all supernatural evil until it is destroyed. Only then will Chakan be free.
